
Craig Taylor MAIBC MRAIC
Principal
Born in 1965, Craig graduated with honors in 1988 from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia having studied and worked in London in 1986/87. In 1988 Craig was the recipient of both the Royal Australian Institute of Architects - Q.I.A. Medal and the Queensland Board of Architects Prize.
Craig commenced employment at Bligh Voller Nield, one of Australia’s most respected Architectural Practices, in 1987 and was an associate of the practice from 1993 to 1999. During that time he was responsible as design team leader and Project Architect on numerous successful projects, including The $120M Russell Offices Redevelopment for the Department of Defense National Headquarters inCanberra. Since immigrating to Canada in 1999, Craig played a significant role in the design of the Ottawa International Airport, 401 Burrard St. Office tower while at Architectura. Craig Joined Christopher Bozyk Architects in 2001 and was the lead design Architect on many notable projects helping to establish the firms new design direction. He was a principal of that practice from 2007 until re-establishing Taylor Kurtz in 2008.
Craig’s specific skills lie in the design and management of complex and important projects. Whether the project is large or small, Craig’s ability to focus the energy and skills of a committed design team invariably results in completed solutions that fulfill client aspirations and create positive contributions to the built environment.
